Last time I posted this, somebody disagreed with me, but it seems like there was a Supreme Court decision in the last decade that effectively requires you to produce ID when asked by a cop. Personally, I hope nobody tests my thesis because the way the Supreme Court is currently made up, I suspect any test case would confirm my interpretation. I carry ID because I worry about what would happen if I get run over. I suppose I should just get a road ID.
