It's my understanding that
hubstripping is a hobby website, and the "editor" funds it himself. If that's the case, complaint disallowed.
Complaints about Shimano for post-purchase failure to support, however, would seem to be reasonable.

PS - Or one could just buy a
SRAM hub.
I already have two older Sachs Torpedos, a SRAM P5 and a SRAM iMotion9 as well as a Rohloff. Deutschland Uber Alles! The Alfine will be my first Shimano hub. I want to see how the rice burners do.
