Hey I think The Beginner rides - should be No Drop...meaning no drop no matter what speed you are. The bike shops I have been to for group rides that say no drop - do not drop me...and I rode with the very very slow group a number of times. (I set the pace since I was the slowest) The group broke off and maybe it was just me and one of the leaders - but it worked! And I was hooked.

I then made my way into the faster pack (of the beginner riders  )

So It helps to talk to the shop and see what they mean by no drop. No drop with a MPH hopefully means you try and get to that pace - but otherwise...they stick with you... They may steer you to practise til you can reach the minimum speed and then come back - but I am so grateful no one ever dropped me on those rides... and I got better.

The rides that say Moderate Pace - whoosh those left me in the dust. But even Moderate pace no drop - the leader did not drop me - but I quickly figured out it would be along time before I reach moderate pace (hopefully one of these years)
