You stole my thread! I was going to do a nice review of the Antares since I have been riding on it for a week today. I was coming from a Selle Italia SLR, which was comfy for rides <2 hours and after that point I would have some pretty intense pressure pains on the insides of my sitbones.

I started looking at the saddle and thought that the "ridge" in the center of the saddle with the sides slowly falling away from that point was my problem. I think the saddle was actually sitting a bit between the sit bones and not supporting them properly. So, for about three months I looked at all sorts of saddle designs to visualize what I would think a comfy saddle would be. I saw the Antares and new that I had to have it.

Mounted it up and instantly felt much better. Dialed it in over the next three shorter rides (<1 hour) and then on Sunday took it out for 4.5 hours. I absolutely love it. I have none of the pressure on the inside of the sitbones and the very minimal padding works great for me on longer saddle times and I like the "tail" where I can slide back to get a good amount of leverage when the road turns up.

The only problem I have with the saddle is the high price, but for comfort it is completely worth it.
