I disagree. I'd take the higher quality hardtail any day over a cheap full suspension bike. Better parts spec and lighter weight on the hardtail. With a lesser fully, you get a tank of a frame and it's plastered with low end parts. A higher end full suspension bike would be a more understandable thing than saying a lower end full suspension bike is superior to a higher end hardtail.

I've given the full suspension bike thing a try, but I have found it is simply not for me. It's just that I find I prefer a hardtail that can take a licking.
