I'm assuming you mean inbound? I always stop there. There's rarely a lull in cross traffic, but even if there's a gap at the bridge that I can ride through, I don't. I'm a big proponent of not messing up traffic flow, especially during rush hour, if I can help it, and shooting gaps there does tend to slow down the cross traffic. Backing up one car causes a ripple effect in heavy traffic, and I'd rather just wait my turn and let everyone get through in as efficient manner as possible.

I guess the annoying thing about waiting for the green is sometimes there will be a car on your left that needs to get into the right turn lane past the light and will cut you off like you weren't even there. I guess I've learned to watch out for that, and I rarely have problems.
