I do a short little social ride 2-3 saturdays a month. Other then that I mostly ride alone on commutes or maybe with just my wife on longer rides. Until I'm faster or almost as fast as people I don't want to go on a multi hour or multi day ride and slow anyone down.

Try to find a social no drop ride that really is a social no drop ride. We must stop, regroup and chat 20 times on the 10 mile trip to the coffee shop some mornings while groups of slow and fast riders going slow catch up.
