So I'd say you made it under the wire. And by the way the 'F it ride for yourself' part is the part you should get jiggy with out of the gate. Everything else is total friggin white noise.
Man, I wish I could get my dad in to cycling. I was able to get my mom, who is in her late 50's, on a bike and she loves it as much as I do. I've seen the guys who race at 60 and they are in crazy good shape.
