Well here is my story. I used to race. I was a solid Cat 3 when I was in my early 20's. I started drinking
and well that was the end of cycling. I remember showing up to a Crit after an all nighter thinking I could "pull it off" guys looking around me like "Dude is that Coors Light I smel?" Disgusting! as I look back on it.
So I became a chef and had the "lifestyle" for a long time. I'm 37 now. So I did pretty good damage to my body. I recently started riding again (now 6 months) and I cant stop. The last time I drank was on Thanksgiving and the next day I thought I was going to die. Mind you I had a couple of glasses not my 3 bottle usual. So Yea, I feel alcohol the next day and I was a professional drinker. So thank God for riding. All you young guns just take it easy because that **** can get away from you.
