I don't use a mirror on the bike, but I put one on my glasses at the office so nobody can sneak up on me when I'm posting on bike forums.

I also installed a clipless system on the pedals of my car. Only 6 accidents so far by not being able unclip from the clutch and into the brake in time, but it's worth it.
