I'm just a beginner looking to get into cycling, so the magazine is good enough for me, especially when the subscription is free. I haven't read the magazine for long so all the info is new to me. It is you elitist types that create the biggest barrier into the sport of cycling.

Yes, but my question was whether it was a price mistake or not. The bike review takes up a whole page on the guide so I would've thought something as important as the price would've been something they should've checked and double checked. Now I know better.

Elitist types. Yes, right. That's me all right.

I was just trying to point out that Bicycling mag is a crappy mag. You're reading way too much into things, and you apparently have very thin skin, since you seemingly are taking things way too personally.

Hint: even as a new rider, I'd not steer you towards Bicycling mag as means of advice and learning about the sport. You'll get better and more information, particularly in regard to the mtb world online from forums such as here, and online mag content.

Remember: there are no stupid questions. However, getting all butt hurt about responses you dislike on teh intarwebs just lends toward people not being inclined to help you in the future. Read with a filter.
