No, I use HRM some and cadience all the time. I don't need more.

Log it, one log a day. Add weight, cals burned, temp and where I ride.

Yes! I compete against myself. I keep an average of data over a 10 yr period and use that as a goal device.
I.E. to say I need to ride 120% of the avg miles ridden in June.
