Son of a B***h. That's my pretty orange stem.

I guess I'm stem shopping... I had spec'd a Thomson Elite for a different bike and think it may be just the ticket here. Might be an opportunity for me to remove a spacer or two and HTFU.

Thanks for the heads up, Gabbo. I've been reading velonews a lot since the racing season started, but I hadn't seen this notice yet.
