Were there any bits of white paint on the axle nut? My guess, from having unboxed a few hundred bikes, is that the wheel was fixed in place and the box was jammed from the sides, and after it did the damage the zip tie holding it had broken and now the wheel would be loose. So the wheel caused the damage, but not because it was loose.e hassle of a seller on ebay having to spend a couple hours fixing some problems is a huge deal.
