It certainly looks nice though and for $279 I might even jump. I just don't get why they always slap stupid-looking bars on these 'Seattle' edition bikes. I suppose it's better than the ridiculous coffee cup seat tube decal on the Specialized Langsters..
yeah i saw that too, was gonna show it to a friend. I guess it was a one day only deal (along with the 10% code). no big, I wasn't real set on it. the green was nicer than the BD bikes imo and the spec was alright, but it would need new bars, brake levers (i'm a drop guy, riding on the hoods is nice). frankly I needed some more time to mull it over before buying.
on a related note (and only related int that it's also a performance site thing), what is the consensus on the scat SSR frame? I was thinking of taking the name part of the decals off, leaving on the white lines, and filling in the area where the name is with some grey-blue vinyl. doesn't seem like a bad deal for frame, fork, and seat collar for 180.
