Aside from the WSD Trek bikes, Bianchi makes a really nice bike for smaller-statured women called the Eros Donna (cool name too...), but it has some of the same women-specific features that the Treks do, including slightly shallower drops and short-reach brakes/controls. It's a 700c wheel bike, but has compact geometry, so standover height and size of wheel is not really an issue - that's why they make it in I think only a couple of sizes. Depending on how you are built, there are probably alot of bikes out there that could fit, but (from a non-woman's perspective) I think there are advantages to a women's specific bike that would be desirable.
