I second what Anthony said. I did a Tyler race last year, as a group, we missed two turns on the first lap, almost got pegged by a car behind us, and after the race Tyler asked us who placed where. I'm pretty sure that was the last race of his that counted towards USAC points.
If you want to risk your life for a box of 7 year-old Clif Luna bars (honestly, this was a "prize") while simultaneously wasting money and earning the cycling equivalent of Monopoly Money, then by all means, go ahead.
