"A bike that fits" is kind of a generic statement that seems to be tossed around a lot. If it's your first bike purchase you might not know what "a bike that fits" feels like. Go to a LBS that you trust and ask them if they do fittings with their bikes. It's sooooooo key. A bike off the floor fits the average joe, a fitting makes a bike fit YOU. Finding a frame size is easy, the rest is kind of difficult. Unfortunately, I don't know what 600 pounds translates to the crappy value of the American dollar.
