“on your left” works for me because 90% of the passing I do is not on a bicycle path but rather on the open road and most folks on the roads I ride are experienced with faster bikes over taking on the left.

The rare times I’m in town or on a bike path and dealing with bike n00bs, I swing very wide of them, go very slow and just politely say “passing”
