I'm sorry, but can we get a little less local-news-y in this forum? I'm tired of hearing about all the people getting hit by cars. Particularly when they are doing things that no one on this forum would do (like riding on the wrong side of the road or weaving in and out of traffic). It's a tragedy, but do we really need to share this negativity? I'm sure everyone here has worries about getting hit by a car, but also has the awareness to put themselves in situations that will minimize risk of such. I'd rather talk about what people have been doing lately that's productive to their cycling ability and confidence.
