On my clean, fairly new, well lubed deore rear der I often have to shift up 2 gears and back down one or down 2 gears and up one to snag the next gear. Shifter is indexed and cable is new Jagwire and problem also existed before cable switch. It seems to be equal malfunction going up or down so adjustment shouldn't be the issue I'm assuming. Lbs says to grease intire cable before install. Sheldon says no except maybe just the very end beside der. Thanks in advance for any help.
