Bikes: Surly LHT

Seems like a case of pure physics.
Weight x speed X large amount of brakes to control = tire simply spinning on the rim. If you notice on a kids bike that has a schrader valve and tube is under inflated, the valve will be leaning. The Presta prevented the tube from sliding into the tire while the tire was was spinning on the rim caused by the large amount of friction and ca-blooley. Even with a tire properly seated, it can happen.

Just hope it didn't take you down with it.
