Trading up to a bike that is essentially worthless to you when you have a bike that is worth something to you is bad financial advice.

Then you have to accept whatever gremlins the TT bike MAY have... its just a bad idea. If you're selling your bike, sell it for money, or trade for something that would be directly useful to you.
