The first few of these I really felt were much ado about nothing. However, at one point I had one that had warmed up to a temp that most people wouldn't drink it. Probably 60-65 degrees F. Surprisingly enough, at this temp it has a pretty nice flavor profile. It's still a relatively 'light' beer, but there is a good tasting beer hidden in there.
If I go to a restaurant where this is my best option, I'll order a Fat Tire when I first get there, make sure it's not in a frosted glass (this goes for any beer), and then let it warm up until my dinner shows up. By that time it'll probably be worth drinking. I had one at a friends house that I stuck in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Either approach works.
