What to do with a "Drew": Snow Bike Part 2

Just a quick follow-up on my snow bike thread awhile back. I finally git a set of brakes to work on the front. (Thank you nlerner and pastorbob and other BF members for their generosity). PB & nlerner both sent sets of canti's for this project but neither worked on the front unfortunantely. I finally scorded a pair of vintage Shimano XT canti's at the local bike co-op.

The low profile Shimanos did not have enough tension and the dia compe 980's suffered from unequal spring tension. No matter how I bent the springs, I could not get them to work.

Anyway it is done and while it snowed today, I had to work. Oh well, at least I am set for next year!
