Try a narrower compact handlebar reducing your reach. A narrower bar allows holding up your torso with skeleton versus musculature taking pressure off your traps which can lead to neck pain. I prefer a bit of drop and not too much reach. Sometimes if your bars are too high this will create more neck tension. Experiment with the above and you will find a sweet-er spot.
