the frame actually measures 60cm from the center of the BB to the top of the seat tube. that's true with all the kilos... they're actually a bit bigger than they're listed... I think BikesDirect.com gives you the actual sizes.
I don't think my saddle is too low... If I went any higher I think I'd be pointing my toes a bit too much... I'll try it though.

I've got the same inseam 33.5"-ish, also riding a 57. I find it comfortable even with the long stock stem. I purchased my kilo back in '07 and it's got that long ugly threaded stem.
Anyone with suggestions on a nice stem upgrade, preferably with the removable faceplate?
Just to add, my seatpost is a smidge higher than yours tvvat and I don't find myself tip-toeing. I don't know how some of you 6 footers are riding on 53's....
