I think they are great tires - I average between 16 and 18 mph on the roads w/o much effort and have exceeded 22 mph for a good stretch until hills got in the way.
+1 for these. I've got the Armadillo Elite version, and can easily maintain a cruise of 18mph or so. I did hit 30+ a couple times last fall with a stiff tailwind.
