Specialized Allez #045

Hi there,
I purchased an Allez frame and fork a couple of years back from a small repair co-op. Upon purchasing I was told that it was one of the first to be produced and sure enough the bottom bracket is stamped 0045 and 54k1 indicating the size. I was wondering if anyone could help me to confirm the builder. I'm sure it is not a 3rensho due to the lack of certain distinct features (namely the offset fork crown). I know the history of these bikes is a little muddled, but I was wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on the subject. Thanks
