I'm a solid 15 and wear a 51. I might be able to down size to a 50 but would probably then have to go for megawide to provide toebox volume. As it is, I run a thick insole in my normal 51's to help the fit. So, if you're an average 14, 49 sounds about right. Once you get your shoes, let us know how they fit.
