My stomach can't handle anything much more than a piece or two of toast with jelly and maybe some black tea with milk for some caffeine. Coffee and acidic juices are quite hard on the stomach, especially early in the morning. You might also want to avoid taking long hot showers, just because having your muscles in hot water so long can reduce performance.
