if you are comming from seattle just do on bike during the stp (seattle to portland ride)
if you also want good names to learn like tewilliger, estacada, and lake oswego,
or for some real fun you can visit Boring (small town east of portland)
riding across the 205 bridge can be fun or along marine drive (use to be any ways, when i lived there many years ago)
