Nice Conversion. That frame is quite nice and worth a good bit as long as you don't grind anything off of it.

39-17 is good for skidding but hopefully you won't be in a hurry to get anywhere. Save up for a 42 Chainring. It'll fit the inside of the cranks like the 39.
