I appreciate the help. While I realize buying a slightly higher end bike from what most people are used to may be a bit of a reach for someone who bikes about 4 miles a day, I'm looking at buying a nicer bike with an interest of doing some more serious biking in the future. But thanks for all the input. The best option is still to go check out some LBS and I guess I'll go next weekend.
