NR, sorry to hear about no ride today, maybe get 300 miles next weekend to make up for it huh.
Harry, I felt like that yesterday, I had good power (I thought), but nearly 2 months of flat rides under 25 miles, really not much endurance. Last 10 miles I just felt slow legs felt a little weak.

Sunday Family Ride
I usually don't do family ride reports but this was good.

I met the wife at Marley, took 20 minutes to unload all the bikes and get the pads, gloves and helmets on the boy and the baby loaded into the trailer.

We made a ride going away from the bridge over rt100, little down hill, the boy took a fall, pretty good too. He was crying his eyes out, he was ok physically (pads and helmet). I told the wife he is soooo going to be scared and not want to get on the bike. She asked him if he wanted to ride in the trailer w/sister. He said no, she said "wanna go home" again a "No". He then said "I want to ride my bike", He then rode for a mile by himself, no help (ok maybe a little). Then we realized as slow as we were going we would never make it to the airplane park and back before dark. So I loaded the boy into the trailer and stuck the front wheel of the bike in the back of the trailer, Off to the park we went. Got to the park, sun going down fast. I dropped off the kids and the wife and bolted back to Marley to get the car, got chased by 2 dogs and flipped the trailer (hit a block of wood,no kids in it), got everyone, got some ice cream and went home

Towing 60 lbs of kids w/a mountain bike is quite a work out!

11 miles
8.8 avg
20 max
