Got the Candy SLs with SIDI Bullet 2 shoes (after trying on a bunch of shoes) and went for a ride yesterday and it was awesome. Had a little bit of trouble clipping in on the right pedal but pedaling, float, release were perfect. This was my first pair of clipless pedals and I could not believe how good it felt while riding and how easy it was.

So this morning it is on to work with normal shoes and the Candy SLs. Will see how it goes. Still considering "dalmore's" suggestion above about getting the Winwood Decksters - those seem like the best of both worlds.
