I use the Finish Line carbon anti-slip (assembly paste) ANY TIME there is carbon involved. Grease can cause carbon to delaminate. It will then permeate the carbon and cause it to swell. This is bad.

No Grease. Paste.

A side benefit allows you to use lower torque values with no slipping.
