I had one guy "selling" a vintage Paramount with Campy 50th Anniversaryy group on CL for what seemed to be a really good price. He insisted that I send money to "Online Trading Post" who was handling all his sale items while he was away in NY on a new job. No opportunity to see the bike in person, but they would pay return shipping and issue a refund if I didn't like the bike. Smelled fishy, so I said have them send the bike COD and I will inspect it before I pay. As you can probably guess, I got no further e-mails. The pictures of the bike were probably lifted from EBay or somewhere. I usually play along with these guys just to see where they will go next.
