Recently I removed my tires from my rims as they were due for replacement. While cleaning the glue off of one of the rims I noticed a small hole in the surface where the tire is glued. Upon inspection this area seemed to be a void in the carbon. I say this because with very little pressue I was able to push my finger through this hole. Under the hole was a big bunching of the plastic bladder they use when molding carbon wheels. Could be coincidence, but I wonder if the plastic had something to do with this. My dilema is do I ride this wheel. My first inclination is that the wheel isn't safe. The hole doesn't extend to the breaking surface, but still it's a hole where there isn't supposed to be one. FWIW, this newly discovered hole is directly opposite the valve stem hole
