One of my Gigantex rims (identical to yours) has the same thing. Exactly opposite the valve hole. Only thing is that on mine, you can see the outline of the hole (with some of the edge of the circumference of the hole already cracked in). I tried pushing it once but decided against it. I recently swapped out tires on that wheel and it didn't seem to have progressed much further.
