MAX 500 & i'd like to spend less the 400. Which solidly puts me in the used or *****ty new bike category.

I live in Minneapolis, so there are plenty of used bike shops around. Also, I do have a few friends of friends who are bike mechanics, so that helps with any work that needs to be done
