Hmmm. Didn't seem to have a problem with it last Summer. A cell phone, yes, always looking. My iPhone didn't. Perhaps I'm mistaken about that. I do leave it on 24/7 nowadays and even when there's nothing to be picked up, it doesn't seem to search unless I'm actively using it. Then again, I kept the thing (iPhone) turned off on tour until I wanted to use it for something. Wonderful little device. What more does one need?
