Questionable Weights?
So I just built up my new s-works sl2.
Looking at published weights of components, frame and a very lenient 1800g wheelset, in total it still registers at 6586g ~ 14.5lbs.
This is what I'm looking at:
1100g 54cm SL2 Frame
2253g SRAM Rival Grouppo
350g SL2 Fork
220g S-Works Seat Post
175g Fizik Antares Saddle
220g 3T Pro Handlebar
150g Ritchey Pro Stem
1800g Just a forgiving number (my Jet 60s Weight in at 1720g)
Total 6586g ~ 14.5 lbs.
MY BIKE does not feel like 14.5 lbs, or even 15.5 lbs, FEELS more like 17 lbs.
How is this possible?
