+1. Don't skimp out on saddles. you spend 1000 hours a year on the thing. Even if you spent $200 on a saddle, you are only paying $.20/hour

If anything, you should replace your saddles every 1-2 years (depending on how much you ride). Padding and the shell deform and give you less than optimal fit. I've seen well worn saddles droop several millimeters where the person has been sitting, usually asymmetrically.
