Cinelli > Modolo?
Hey guys!
I am restoring a 1970s Bianchi Corsa that I picked up on Craigslist for 100 bucks.
"Only 100 dollars?!?!" you say. Well, the poor thing was saved buy a clueless owner who had gone so far as to drill a hole into the seat tube to affix the wrong size seat stem with a wood screw.
Another problem was the mixed group on it. It's hard to tell what actually should be on this bike. I am not sure if I want it factory standard; more or less the highest quality parts of the time.
So far I have some period parts, but being new to the vintage scene I am not sure what component are better than the other.
So, here is a list of the parts I have double of, can you tell me what parts are better, or at least more fit to be on the bike?
Modolo bars or Cinelli bars
3ttt Italy stem, or unbranded bianchi
Modolo "Corsa" or Universal "super 68"
I as also looking to pick up some Campologno record levers, over the Modolo "corsa" levers, is this wise?
Thanks for reading,
