Hi guys!

I found this bike on sale in a brazilian website like Ebay, very interesting frame but the seller don't know anything about the bike, just said "It's a old german racing bike..."

I purchase the "german bike" for a good price and bring it home. Analizing the frame and the lugs, i realized that bike is a Peugeot, but i've been trying to pin down what model and year it is! Can anyone help me with this?

Some information:

Serial number is 9033730, so I assume by the dating convention that this bike was made in '79. I think some components, like the rear derailleur, shifters and rims are replacements.

Crank - SR (manuf. date 85H - 1985?)
Rear derailleur: Shimano 105 (manuf. date MK - 1988?)
Shifters: Shimano 105 (manuf. date NA - 1989?)
Seat post: Campagnolo
Sadlle: Concor Supercorsa
Rims: Araya RED tubulars
Hubs Sansin (manuf. date OC - 1986?)
Handlebar: Shimano
Brakes: Shimano 600

The original paint is silver, and the previous owner re-painted it over with a red metallic, but keep 2 stripes of the original paint in the seat post.

Above the rear dropout are a engraving "Simplex".
