Ge well soon. You can negotiate rates with health care providers. It would be possible to contact a hospital and arrange a cash payment up front for some basic x rays and a doctor to review them and examine you at a cost far below what they charge insurance companies. I mention this because the wrist is a tricky area, a fracture in one of the several tiny bones of the wrist can cause lots of problems if it doesn't heal properly. I have seen several friends with modest falls who had painful wrists and found out they had a fracture requiring a cast. I hope your symptoms are just from sprains and bruises.

Just curious - how did you fall? Did you endo over the handlebars? Or did you skid from locking up the front wheel and have it go out from under you?
