I had a 10 mile TT yesterday, and felt I did pretty well. Got 26:38, which isn't bad considering the harsh headwinds for 1/3 of the course. I know I can do it faster.

I went for a negative splitting approach. Although I ended up burning all my my matches and leaving everything out there, I think I started too softly for too long, and had to hammer way hard during the last leg. I think I would have been better off with a more consistent effort. Is my thinking on the right track here?
