Flying Southwest Air tomorrow from Hartford to Salt Lake, via Las Vegas.

Haven't flown with bike equipment before, hoping to have my Look Keo pedals in my carry-on luggage, which will be otherwise 100% abiding by regulations.

Anyone have any trouble carrying metal pedals like that through TSA security checkpoints? Will they set off an alarm, or just be seen through the x-rays?

Will they be considered a potential weapon, in this alarmist age?
