I submitted to Budget and Finance (wife) almost a year ago that I needed, okay wanted, a new bike. I have a Specialized Sirrus and I have put 2000+ miles on it the last few years. I just cannot keep up with the guys on event rides though. So, I have been waiting and finally I now have a Specialized Roubaix Elite to go along with it. I have only rode it once and can already see I will love this bike. Some of the streets to work are rough asphalt. The Roubaix dampens the road noise better than the Sirrus and I have 23's on the Roubaix and 35's on the Sirrus. I am keeping my Sirrus for commuter/camping/family rides but I really like the new one.
